Interviews

Interviews at all levels are essential to understand the different perspectives and issues that are present in the organization and to develop a full impression of the company in a short period of time. Our ability to blend in and quickly build trust with individuals is one of our critical success factors.

Documentation

We collate & assess your relevant internal reports, presentations, concept papers, meeting minutes, and performance scorecards. Many of these are identified on beginning the scan, others as we interview your people and observe your business.

Observations

Observations on location are ongoing and are particularly important at two moments in time. The first, before we start interviewing people, we like to walk around and get an initial impression. The second, towards the end of the interview process, to confirm some of our findings.

Final Report Content

Context

We provide a segment on the context of the company in which the scan was carried out. This will have been determined as part of the brief for carrying out the scan and can include: current state of the business; scope of the scan; characteristics of the company's customers; its strategic objectives; and ambition of the corporate group.

Findings

The report will provide our major findings and insights based on their impact to the business. Where we feel a sense of urgency to address a critical issue, we will ensure this gets passed on to the relevant leaders prior to producing the report.

Recommendations

Our recommendations are based on best practices, taking into account the current workload & capability of your people. These present a way forward on how to deal with the major findings and, in addition, providing guidance on a roadmap and where to start.
